DAY 1 15H-23H – Arrival at Casa Ti Messias accomodation in Almeida for check-in DAY 2 09H-10H: Breakfast at the accommodation 10H-12H: Guided historical visit to Solar de São João in Almeida 12H: Travel to Paul de Toirões rewilding area 12H30-14H: Field lunch served in the property by Mercearia da Saudade 14H-17H: Guided visit to Paul de Toirões rewilding area with specialized guide 17H-19H: Travel to Quinta do Rio Noémi accomodation in Guarda to checkin and free time 19H30-21H30: Dinner in the historical centre of the city, in Nobre Vinhos restaurant and return to the accomodation DAY 3 09H-10H: Breakfast in the accomodation 10H-12H: Guided historical visit to Guarda city, with Hereditas guide 12H30-14H: Lunch in the local restaurant Gula. 14H30-19H: Gastronomy afternoon in Pinhel – experience of rhubarb harvest and making a rhubarb cake out of it after in Planalto Dourado + experience of producing the famous Cavacas de Pinhel in the original production unit 19H30-21H30: Dinner in Deep Taste in Pinhel 21H30: Travel to the accomodation Casa das Histórias to sleep and end of the experience in the morning after This experience is available for groups of between 1 and 20 people.

This experience is provided by Rewilding Portugal, an NGO that is part of Rewilding Europe's range of landscapes and has been developing strong rewilding efforts in the Greater Côa Valley region in Portugal since 2019. All profits from these tourist experiences are directly invested in their conservation and ecological restoration projects.
