How your experience helps rewilding efforts
Throughout the day, across different landscapes, we will discover the natural processes that Rewilding Spain and partner organisations are restoring through ecosystem regeneration 🌿. We will visit the Przewalski horses and learn about the reintroduction programme of the black vulture in Peralejos de las Truchas 🦅.
Iberian Highlands | Spain
The removal of dams and artificial barriers is restoring the natural flow of rivers and streams across the Iberian Highlands. This is revitalising aquatic ecosystems, allowing fish and other freshwater species to move freely and regain their abundance.
