🐾 Set off on a full day of adventure in the footsteps of the wolf 🐺 Led by a naturalist involved in monitoring the Vercors packs, this outing immerses you in the heart of the territory of this fascinating and complex animal. ❄️ Between tracking in the snow, checking camera traps, and reading signs of presence, you will discover how the wolf lives and moves across its vast territory. 🌄 A full day of immersion to discover wolves in a different way, far from stereotypes, as close as possible to reality, in their natural environment, through a scientific and sensitive approach. 🌿💛

Programme
Throughout the day, we will walk or snowshoe, depending on conditions, searching for signs of wildlife: footprints, markings, fur, remains of prey, etc. Tracking is done step by step, based on the day's findings and information gathered during monitoring throughout the year. Sometimes the tracks will lead us deep into the forest, sometimes they will quickly disappear — that's the charm and mystery of the outside ! We will also take the time to check camera traps, which provide real evidence of wildlife activity, and discuss scientific monitoring methods and coexistence with this iconic species. We will enjoy a picnic in the field, in a friendly atmosphere, accompanied by a nice hot drink that you can bring in your thermos. This break will also be an opportunity to share anecdotes from the field and discoveries made over the winter months. Whether you are a curious beginner or an experienced naturalist, this immersion day is open to everyone. The most important thing is a desire to learn, observe and be surprised by the wilderness. An experience combining science, adventure and contemplation, offering a different way of experiencing wolves in the winter silence of the Vercors!
What's Included?
The price includes daily supervision, preparation of teaching materials and preliminary fieldwork (tracking, prospecting, checking camera traps, etc.).

Can children participate in this tour? This expedition is open to children aged 6 and over, provided they are accompanied by a parent.
