MTB or e-Bike Expedition: Discover Rewilding Spain (4 days)

What better way to discover rewilding than by living it directly?

The luxury of silence

Experience the Sierra de Albarracín through our eyes: a realm of ancient forests 🌲, hidden canyons 🏞️, and untouched horizons. Immerse yourself in one of the most depopulated regions of Europe, where every path leads to a place yet to be discovered. Join us and wander through some of the last truly wild places on the continent ✨.

The Sierra de Albarracín is the perfect setting to enjoy pedaling in its purest form 🚴‍♀️: gentle slopes, flowing routes, and flexible days adapted to each type of bicycle, always in close contact with intact nature and ongoing rewilding projects 🐺🌿.

Itinerary

Day 1 · El Pinar de Iberia 🌲 We start the experience riding through the largest pine forest on the Iberian Peninsula, linking fast and fun forest tracks between Bronchales and Noguera. An ideal first day to gain sensations, adjust rhythms, and enjoy comfortable pedaling through endless forests—perfect for both MTB and e-bikes 🚴‍♂️✨. Day 2 · The Top of the Sierra ⛰️ The toughest day of the trip. We face the ascent of Caimodorro, the highest point of the Sierra de Albarracín, in Orihuela del Tremedal. A demanding but highly rewarding route, with long stretches of track and wide panoramic views 🌄. On an e-bike, the elevation gain becomes pure enjoyment; on an MTB, a true personal challenge 💪. Day 3 · Meet the Taurus 🐂 We ride along the historic Camino del Cid until we reach the Rewilding Spain reserve in Frías de Albarracín. A very special stage where the bicycle brings us closer to a pioneering conservation model 🌿. We observe bulls and Pottoka horses roaming freely and learn first-hand how ecological restoration brings life back to these landscapes ✨. Day 4 · Discover the Rivers 💧 The final day of pedaling, following the origin of the water. We cross the Muela de San Juan to discover the source of two great peninsular rivers: the Tajo and the Guadalaviar. A varied route with open sections, more technical areas, and landscapes that invite you to savor every kilometer before the journey comes to an end 🌊🚴‍♀️.

What's Included?

We provide both the guide and the e-bike 🚴‍♂️. Prefer to ride your own bike? Just ask us for the adjusted price. You can also choose between SPD or standard pedals to suit your riding style 👌. If you want it to sound more premium or more friendly, we can tweak it further.

What to Bring

We provide the helmets. You just need to bring your cycling gear (suitable for the weather) and a desire to have a great time!
