What better way to discover rewilding than by living it directly?

Discover the perfect route for families and nature lovers! 🌿 This route is comfortable and easy, ideal for kids. It’s also highly recommended in summer, as the shade of the pine trees will be our travel companion. ☀️🌲 We start our adventure at the parking lot on Canto Road, from where we venture into a deep and dense Scots pine forest. Here, it’s easy to encounter local wildlife such as deer, roe deer, and yew, which feel comfortable in this natural environment, sometimes we forget that it’s their home. 🦌🌿 Although it’s difficult to spot birds due to the forest’s density, it’s common to find woodpeckers that will surprise us with their melodies. 🎶 A visit to the Cerritón Lagoon is a must on this route, a magical place where nature shows its beauty. From the lagoon, we’ll head to the “gotiales” or springs, peatlands where water emerges and fills the landscape with small streams. 💧 We’ll continue our route, crossing the Río del Puerto, which is still a newborn, and visit the Fuente de la Huerta. In just a few minutes, we’ll be back at the car, with unforgettable memories of this enchanting route. 🍃✨ Get ready for the adventure! 🌄

⏱️ This route takes approximately three hours, making it perfect for a relaxed half-day adventure. You can enjoy it either in the morning or in the evening, both moments offer their own magic: the forest awakening at dawn or the calm light of sunset filtering through the pines. 🌄🌲
