How your experience helps rewilding efforts
This is one of the most sparsely populated regions in Spain. By joining this adventure, you directly support the local economy, including family-run hotels, restaurants, and community businesses, while helping preserve the natural and cultural heritage of the Sierra. 🌍💚
Iberian Highlands | Spain
The removal of dams and artificial barriers is restoring the natural flow of rivers and streams across the Iberian Highlands. This is revitalising aquatic ecosystems, allowing fish and other freshwater species to move freely and regain their abundance.
