Itinerary
PROGRAMME: DAY 1 15H-23H30 – Arrive at Rewilding Centre in Vale de Madeira (Pinhel) for check-in (for those arriving before dinner, we recommend the Deep Taste restaurant in Pinhel) DAY 2 08H30-09H30: Breakfast in the accomodation 09H30-12H: Guided visit to Ermo das Águias rewilding area, to learn about Rewilding Portugal’s work in the field, explore the region’s fauna and flora, and see our herds of Sorraia horses and Tauros roaming free in person. 12H15: Travel to local village Trancoso 13H: Lunch with local and typical products in Mercearia do Fradinho 14H30: Travel to Castelo Melhor 15H30-18H: Visit to rock engravings of the Côa Valley Archaeological Park, with Ambieduca 18H30: Travel to Miuzela village 20H00: Vegetarian dinner prepared by a specialised private chef, Miguel Veiga and served in Casa do Brigadeiro accomodation 21H30: Overnight in Casa do Brigadeiro DAY 3 08H: Breakfast in the accomodation 09H15: Travel to Vale Carapito rewilding area in Vilar Maior, Sabugal 10H00-13H00: Guided visit to Vale Carapito rewilding area 13H00: Lunch inside Vilar Maior historical castle, with local products from Wild Côa Network members End of the programme

What to Bring
Sunglasses, sunscreen, appropriate footwear and clothing, a bottle of water, snacks for other periods of the day. We will provide binoculars but you can bring your own if you want.
