Hostel Villanueva Nature house for private group stays

What better way to discover rewilding than by living it directly?

Hostel Villanueva is a nature house located at the gateway to Alto Tajo Natural Park. The building, which stood empty for more than thirty years, has been carefully restored and adapted as a welcoming space, preserving its original character and simple essence.

It operates as a whole-house stay and can host groups of up to 13 guests. It is a place designed for sharing time, conversation, and territory — whether for group trips, retreats, gatherings, or simply to explore the area at a slower pace.

The house offers spacious and light-filled interiors, three bathrooms (two with showers), and an environment where silence, open skies, and proximity to nature become part of the experience. From here, guests can easily access hiking routes, viewpoints, and landscapes of the Alto Tajo, as well as initiatives connected to the area’s ongoing rewilding efforts.

Hostel Villanueva is not a place for a quick stopover, but a meeting point for those who wish to inhabit the territory for a few days and discover it from within, together and without rush.

How your stay helps rewilding efforts

At Hostel Villanueva, we understand hospitality as part of a territory that is undergoing regeneration. For this reason, we have chosen a whole-house model that allows us to manage energy and resources responsibly, avoiding unnecessary consumption and reducing the impact of operating a large home. We apply low-impact practices in our use of water and energy, as well as in waste management, seeking coherence between what we offer and the environment we inhabit. We collaborate with local producers, guides, and organizations that act as guardians of the territory, supporting initiatives that strengthen the rural economy and the conservation of the landscape. We also participate in and host gatherings and workshops where traditional crafts are revived, contemporary knowledge is shared, and space is created for those who wish to actively contribute to the positive flourishing of the surrounding nature. We understand tourism as a form of conscious presence: longer stays, a slower rhythm, and a genuine connection with the environment. We believe that every visit can contribute, in a simple yet meaningful way, to the care and future of the Alto Tajo.
