The Old Nest
The Old Nest is a revived two-storey Rhodope house over 200 years old, built from stone and wood. After nearly two years of restoration, its original character remains—wooden beams, floorboards and the small recesses in the rooms were carefully preserved, and every old plank found a new purpose in the interior. The house offers 9 rooms with en-suite bathrooms: 7 on the second floor of the main building, opening onto a large covered balcony, and 2 in the restored barn. The first floor features an old barn transformed into a Rhodope-style tavern, along with a summer dining area and shared bathrooms.

FAQ – The Old Nest, Madzharovo What are the check-in and check-out times? Check-in is after 15:00. Check-out is by 11:00. If you want to extend your stay, let us know—room changes may be needed depending on occupancy. ________________________________________ Do I need to pay anything in advance? Yes. A 50% deposit confirms your booking. The remaining amount is paid at check-in in EUR. ________________________________________ Do I need to show an ID? Yes. An ID card or passport is required at check-in. ________________________________________ Is Wi-Fi available? Yes. ________________________________________ What should I know about the room keys? Leave the key at the door or hand it to our staff when you depart. A lost key has a 10 BGN fee. ________________________________________ Can I take room items home? No. Towels, sheets, books and other amenities must stay in the house. ________________________________________ Can I invite friends? Yes—guests are welcome in the common areas. ________________________________________ Is laundry available? A washing machine, iron, hairdryer and dryer are available upon request. ________________________________________ When are meals served? • Breakfast: 08:30–10:00 (included in your stay) • Dinner: 20:00–23:00 Dinner must be requested by 11:00 the same day, and cancellations should also be made by 11:00. Please report any issue to the manager during your stay so it can be solved immediately. Intentional or careless damages will be charged. If damage is noticed after departure, an invoice will be sent. Fire extinguishers are located in common areas, the balcony, the kitchen and the dining rooms. If you notice fire or smoke, notify our staff immediately and specify the location. ________________________________________ What happens in case of natural disasters? Stay calm and follow staff instructions. Do not run outside—most injuries happen during movement.
